Copy Trades is the operational record for your execution connections. Use it to inspect open exposure, copied and manual activity, Dry Run results, messages, and PnL.
What the page shows
- Open positions
- Current exchange-side positions associated with the selected connections, including amount, entry, mark, and open PnL.
- Recent orders
- Copied, simulated, skipped, failed, and manual outcomes with the trader, amount, prices, realized result, and message where available.
- Realized profit & loss
- A period view of realized results plus current open PnL. Filters change which exchange or period is summarized.
The Message column opens with a status chip that names the outcome: Dry run, Failed, Limit, or Partial. A fully copied order carries no chip. Read the text beside the chip for the reason behind the row, because a deliberate rule skip and a genuine execution failure both appear as Failed.
Read a Dry Run result
A Dry Run entry means FiatBear evaluated the event without placing an exchange order. The row carries a Dry run chip; hover it to read what would have been ordered, namely direction, size, symbol, leverage, approximate margin, and limit price. Compare those numbers against your configuration before you disable Dry Run.
Dry run chip marks it as evaluated rather than ordered. Nothing reached the exchange. Captured from a FiatBear development build on 25 July 2026 with the source trader redacted.Read a skipped result
A skipped event is not a separate status. When one of your rules prevents an order, the row is recorded as a failure and the reason appears next to the chip, for example that the asset is on the blocked list, that short positions are disabled, or that the configuration's position limit was reached. A Failed chip is therefore not automatically a malfunction. Read the message first, then decide whether the rule behaved as you intended.
Skip rules are evaluated before Dry Run, so a Dry Run configuration records the same skip reasons a live configuration would.
Read a live result
- Confirm the execution connection and trader.
- Compare requested amount and direction with your configuration.
- Read any exchange or FiatBear message.
- Check Hyperliquid for the actual order, fill, position size, and margin state.
Understand PnL
- Open PnL moves with the current mark price and is not realized.
- Realized PnL reflects closed activity in the selected period.
- Fees, funding, partial fills, and manual actions can make your result differ from the source trader.
- A short period or active filter can hide older rows from the current view.
Manual control
If the page offers a close or take-over action, treat it as an exchange operation. Confirm the target account, asset, size, and current Hyperliquid state before using it. If the page reports a delayed close, verify the live position directly instead of repeatedly clicking.
