Notifications

Connect Telegram or Discord, test delivery, then choose separate rules for source-trader changes and your own copy-trade changes.

FiatBear Notifications settings with Telegram and Discord channel cards and separate Trader Notifications settings
Channels and rules are separate. First connect Telegram or Discord, then configure source-trader and copy-trading notifications. The disposable Telegram linking key has been removed.

Connect Telegram

  1. Open Settings > Notifications.
  2. Start a Telegram chat with @FiatBearBot.
  3. Copy the one-time key shown in the Telegram card and paste it into that chat.
  4. Reload the Notifications page.
  5. Confirm Telegram shows Connected, then select Send test.

Connect Discord

  1. In Discord, create a webhook for the channel that should receive alerts.
  2. Copy the complete webhook URL.
  3. In Settings > Notifications, paste it into the Discord Webhook URL field.
  4. Select Update.
  5. Confirm Discord shows Connected, then select Send test.

Choose what sends an alert

Trader Notifications
Activity on the source traders you follow: open, close, increase, or decrease.
Copy Trading Notifications
Changes FiatBear records for your own copied positions: open, close, increase, or decrease.

These categories answer different questions. A trader alert means the source changed. A copy alert means FiatBear handled an action for your execution connection.

Reduce noisy position-change alerts

Set Minimum position change to suppress increase or decrease alerts below that percentage. Open and close events remain separate controls. If a trader makes many small adjustments, begin with a modest threshold and adjust from actual alert volume.

Override notifications per trader

The global Trader Notifications settings define which events matter. On Settings > Traders, each trader can follow the global default or be switched on or off individually.

If a test does not arrive

  • Confirm the channel card says Connected.
  • Check the exact Telegram chat or Discord channel you connected.
  • For Telegram, make sure the bot chat was started before sending the key.
  • For Discord, check whether the webhook was removed, rotated, or restricted.
  • Reconnect the channel and send another test before changing event rules.
