Connect Hyperliquid to FiatBear

Connect the wallet that owns your Hyperliquid account, authorize a separate FiatBear trading agent, and approve the builder fee displayed by the application.

Connect with MetaMask, Rabby, or another browser wallet

  1. In FiatBear, open Settings > Exchanges.
  2. Select Hyperliquid and choose Connect with Wallet.
  3. Select the browser-wallet option.
  4. If the wallet shows multiple accounts, choose the account whose full address matches Hyperliquid.
  5. Approve the connection request. Connecting exposes the public address; it does not authorize trading yet.
  6. Review and sign the builder-fee approval at the rate shown by FiatBear.
  7. Review and sign the separate request that authorizes the FiatBear trading agent.
  8. Wait for FiatBear to validate the connection and return to the Exchanges page.

Connect with WalletConnect

Hyperliquid documents the same desktop-to-mobile pattern in its official mobile QR connection guide.

  1. Open Settings > Exchanges, select Hyperliquid, and choose Connect with Wallet.
  2. Select WalletConnect.
  3. On desktop, scan the QR code using the connection scanner inside your wallet app. On mobile, choose the supported wallet deep link.
  4. Approve the session in the wallet.
  5. Keep both FiatBear and the wallet app open while you approve the builder-fee and trading-agent signatures.
  6. Return to FiatBear after every signature and wait for the success state.
FiatBear connection error explaining that the wallet must have a Hyperliquid account funded before connection
Deposit before connecting FiatBear. A new wallet with no Hyperliquid account is rejected even if both signatures were supplied. This is why the funding and Available to Trade checks come first.

If Hyperliquid was created with email

FiatBear's setup requires wallet signatures. Follow Hyperliquid's official email-wallet export procedure, import the wallet into a compatible wallet application, and verify the address before connecting.

Never paste the exported private key or recovery phrase into FiatBear. Import it only into the wallet application you have chosen.

Vault or subaccount

Leave Hyperliquid Vault/Subaccount Address empty to use the main account. Enter an address only when FiatBear should trade through that specific vault or subaccount. Check the full address before connecting.

What FiatBear creates

FiatBear generates a separate Hyperliquid agent key for trading. Your user wallet signs the authorization. FiatBear stores the agent secret in encrypted form with the exchange connection. The agent is distinct from your user wallet and does not replace it.

Renew an existing connection

If the Exchanges page reports that the agent is near expiry or no longer valid, use the reconnect or renew action. Sign with the same user wallet that owns the Hyperliquid account. Renewal creates or authorizes a fresh trading agent and rechecks the builder-fee approval.

A healthy connection. Settings > Exchange reports the authorization expiry with the days remaining, offers the renew action, and confirms the approved builder fee. Both lines should read as expected before you arm copying. The rate shown here is an example; the interface is the authority.
