There is no single best funding route. Start from where your funds are now, use Hyperliquid's current Deposit screen, and verify the asset and network before sending anything.
Choose your route
| Where funds are now | Practical route | Check before sending |
|---|---|---|
| USDC in an EVM wallet | Use the official Hyperliquid bridge from a currently supported source network. | Token contract, source network, destination wallet, source-network gas. |
| Another asset or network | Swap or bridge into a route currently offered by Hyperliquid, then deposit. | Bridge fees, slippage, destination asset, destination network. |
| Supported native asset | Use the native deposit address displayed by Hyperliquid for that asset and network. | Exact asset, exact chain, deposit address, confirmations. |
| Centralized exchange | Withdraw to a wallet you control on a route accepted by the current Deposit screen. | Withdrawal network, token version, minimum, fee, destination address. |
| Fiat | Use a currently offered third-party on-ramp, then confirm the resulting Hyperliquid balance. | Provider terms, total cost, identity checks, country availability. |
| Hyperliquid account created by email | Use Hyperliquid's deposit options. Export the email wallet only when you are ready to connect FiatBear. | The exported wallet address must match the Hyperliquid account address. |
Route A: USDC through Arbitrum
- Open Hyperliquid and select Deposit.
- Select the current USDC deposit or bridge route for Arbitrum.
- Connect the wallet that holds the funds.
- Verify that the selected token is the USDC contract accepted by the Deposit screen. A similarly named bridged token is not interchangeable.
- Keep enough ETH in the wallet to pay Arbitrum gas.
- Enter the amount, review the destination account, and submit a small test deposit.
- Wait for Hyperliquid to credit the deposit before moving the rest.
Route B: a supported native asset
Hyperliquid can offer deposit addresses for supported assets and networks. The list is changeable, so this documentation does not freeze it. Generate the deposit address inside Hyperliquid, then confirm that your sending wallet or exchange uses the exact same network.
- Open Deposit and choose the asset you actually hold.
- Copy the displayed address and note the required network.
- Check for any memo, tag, minimum, or confirmation requirement shown on screen.
- Send a small test.
- After crediting, trade or convert as needed so the account has collateral available for Perps.
Route C: from a centralized exchange
The safest general route is to withdraw to a wallet you control, then deposit using a route currently shown by Hyperliquid. Some exchanges may also support a direct asset and network that matches a native Hyperliquid deposit address. Never assume that matching asset tickers mean matching networks.
If you signed up to Hyperliquid by email
Your Hyperliquid account still has an underlying wallet. FiatBear needs wallet signatures, so you must follow Hyperliquid's official Export your email wallet procedure and import that wallet into a compatible wallet application.
- Export only on a trusted device.
- Store the recovery material offline and never paste it into FiatBear.
- After import, compare the complete wallet address with the account address shown by Hyperliquid.
After the deposit arrives
Do not stop at “funds received.” Next, confirm that the funds can collateralize perpetual orders. Standard accounts can require a Spot to Perps transfer. Unified accounts behave differently.
