Trace funds in order: source transaction, Hyperliquid credit, account balance location, then Perps Available to Trade. Do not send the same transfer again until you know which step failed.
Deposit is not visible
- Open the sending wallet or exchange and find the transaction ID.
- Confirm the transaction was sent on the network selected in Hyperliquid's Deposit screen.
- Check the destination address, asset contract, amount, and chain confirmations in the appropriate explorer.
- Check Hyperliquid's current status and deposit notices.
- If the transaction is confirmed but still missing, use Hyperliquid's current support process and include the transaction ID. Never include wallet secrets.
Funds are visible but not available to Perps
Check the account mode in Hyperliquid.
- Standard mode: move the intended USDC amount from Spot to Perps.
- Unified mode: do not look for the same internal transfer. Check asset eligibility, collateral treatment, and Available to Trade.
- Portfolio Margin: use the current Hyperliquid portfolio-margin rules. Beginner Spot and Perps assumptions do not apply directly.
Order reports insufficient margin
- Open Hyperliquid Perps and note Available to Trade.
- Review open positions and resting orders that already reserve margin.
- Compare the FiatBear starting position budget with the amount actually available.
- Reduce the position budget or the account-wide number of open positions.
- Do not increase leverage merely to force the rejected order through.
FiatBear and Hyperliquid show different balances
FiatBear selects recommendation collateral according to the detected account mode instead of adding Spot and Perps balances. Hyperliquid's current Available to Trade value is still the final readiness check for new perpetual orders. Also verify that both applications show the same account address.
Funds arrived in a different account
Do not authorize FiatBear against a second wallet just to make the numbers appear. First identify which address received the funds, which address owns the intended Hyperliquid account, and whether Hyperliquid offers an appropriate user-signed transfer path.
